Michelle's Story

"I’ve had skin issues my whole life. I suffered cradle cap, eczema and skin allergies, starting with bubble bath soap as a toddler and deodorant as a teenager.
I’ve toiled through severe acne in my teens and again in my 30’s.

 

Because of my skin health issues and desire to help people like me, I eventually started a Skincare Clinic which utilizes many natural devices such as Lasers and
Light therapy to address conditions such as acne, rosacea, sun damage, etc.
Our Clinic also carries several effective, medical-grade products to help
problematic skin, maintain skin health and slow down the aging process.

 

Unfortunately, my own skin care journey was not over. After many months of random rashes, itching and redness, I returned to my own dermatologist who patch-tested my skin for multiple chemical allergens. The results showed 16 chemical allergies most of which are found in common everyday products. No wonder I was so miserable! I was given a “Skin Safe-App” by my doctor and found many categories such as shampoos, soaps, conditioners, laundry detergent and more had little to no products available. In particular, there were no shampoos listed in the database of 1000’s of products. I was left to either wash my hair with water only or find some DIY wash like Castile soap that leaves you with dry, dull, difficult-to-comb hair.
I was at my wits’ end when I discovered Maria and Luminous Rose.

 

The products she creates are pure, natural and extremely well-designed to give people improvements in their skin but with no harmful chemicals. Her skin care line was very intriguing and some of her products were free of all my chemical allergies! Just because something is natural doesn't mean you won't react and unfortunately none of the shampoos were completely free of my contact allergens. I contacted Maria and she was willing and excited to develop products I could use. She gathered all my medical information and patch testing results and began creating a custom collection for me. With her years of research and experience as well as knowledge
of allergies and sensitivities, Maria has been able to develop a luxurious shampoo
and conditioner for me. She has sent me small testing samples of facial cleanser, lotion and pressed serum which have not caused any skin reactions.
I’m also using the Rose Gold Serum and loving it! I’m so glad to have found
Maria and Luminous Rose who have far exceeded my expectations.
I was starting to lose all hope of ever feeling “normal” again.
