Why I will never formulate with Fragrance

First of all, what is 'Fragrance'? According to the EWG website, "The word "fragrance" or "parfum" on a product label represents an undisclosed mixture of various synthetic scent chemicals and ingredients. Fragrance mixes have been associated with allergies and respiratory distress and disruption of hormones."

Many of us think of "fragrance" as the scent of the product. Fragrance listed on a label can literally encompass hundreds of ingredients. You essentially have no idea what is in the product. According to the Academy of Dermatology Association, fragrance is one of the leading causes of contact dermatitis, a skin condition in which your skin becomes red and inflamed after coming in contact with an irritant. Fragrance can also cause migraines. 35% of people react to fragrance. Companies are not required to list all the ingredients that fall under 'Fragrance'.

How is Luminous Rose different?

I trained under the EU standard of formulation. I follow all standards of the European Union. This has allowed me to formulate with an honest transparency that is then delivered to you. Not only am I thoughtful with the ingredients I use but I am also transparent with every single ingredient that goes into my products. I only use quality essential oils to add therapeutic properties and scent to my skin and hair products. 💕
