Professional Skincare by Mother Nature
In 2021, I began envisioning a larger space—one that could hold the expanding heartbeat of this work. When people asked where my dream location might be, I’d smile and say: Monroe Street in Madison. A charming stretch lined with local shops and steady foot traffic. But it's a 40-minute drive from our farm, and distance matters.
My needs are specific—rooted in both practicality and presence.
-
The space must be close to our land, where much of the magic begins.
-
And just as importantly, we care for senior dogs. Being near them, part of their daily rhythm, is non-negotiable.

Small Batch Skincare,
Guided by Place
It was a rainy day in August when we turned onto a road we hadn’t traveled in months—guided more by feeling than by plan. We’d heard about a building that had just become available, and something tugged us to take a look.
There it was: a quiet corner, less than fifteen minutes from our farm. Madison and Monroe Street—not in the city I’d once imagined, but in Waterloo, Wisconsin. It felt like a wink from the universe. The exact street names from my daydreams, now grounded in the soil I call home.
Sometimes the place finds you. And this one did.
The Universe is always listening.
When we’re open, the Earth responds. Often quietly, she places us exactly where growth can take root—even when we don’t yet see the full shape of the unfolding.
Luminous Rose was born from a dream, nurtured by soil, soul, and the support of a community who believes—like I do—that skincare can be a form of healing. This new space, built in 1885, will serve as a kind of skin for the business: a structure that protects, holds, and reflects what’s blooming within.
This location isn’t just a building—it’s a threshold. In the back, I’ve created a formulation studio where each product is handcrafted in rhythm with the seasons. And in the front, a small specialty boutique, offering not only skin care, but stories, rituals, and the kinds of things that light me up
