Wild Rose DIY Bath Soak

Taking a bath can be a spiritual experience. Schedule a bath weekly to give yourself something to look forward to and a perfect time for self-love. I chose a Wild Rose theme because Rose evokes compassion. This Bath Soak is to cultivate compassion towards ourselves. Feel free to swap out herbs or the essential oil.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Epsom Salt, Sea Salt, Dead Sea salt or a blend

  • 1/2 cup Himalayan Pink Salt

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk Powder (or any Milk Powder)

  • 20 drops Rose essential oil (or any essential oil)

  • 1/4 Dried Rose petals (or any dried herb)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix salts and milk powder well to combine. Mix in rose petals.

  2. Add the drops of essential oil. Stir to combine.

  3. Store in an air-tight container.

  4. Use ½ - 1 cup per bath.

Soaking in a tub of salts can help with an overall sense of well-being, releasing stress and tension. Soaking in a salt bath can help plump skin, creating a natural protective film preventing your skin from drying out. Himalayan salt can generate negative ions in the air, creating the type of calming effect many people experience on a saltwater beach. ~And couldn't we all use a beach right about now :)

Crystals to Enhance your Soak

Taking a bath with your crystals is a great way to relax and recharge. You can place the crystal near the water.

  1. Rose Quartz: Opens, softens and soothes the heart.

  2. Clear Quartz: Can help promote a clear mind.

  3. Amethyst: Helps you fall asleep, promoting serenity and calm.

Note: Always clear your crystals before use in bath rituals. Please proceed with crystal bath rituals with caution, as some crystals are not safe to be put in water. For information on how to cleanse or clear your crystals, please refer to Ashley Leavy's blog post. This is where I took some of my crystal courses.

When your bath is complete be sure to apply a nourishing body cream or body oil to seal in all of the goodness. Happy Bathing 💕
